Character Pamphlet

You are going to create a character pamphlet for someone who has not read the book.  You will need to include quotes from the book when describing who your character is.  Include page numbers and paragraphs with the quotes.  Follow the directions below.

  1. Fold a piece of paper length wise.

Front cover:        On the front cover list 5 adjectives to describe your character.

Write a one – two sentence introduction of who your character is for someone who has not read the book.

               Left side of inside page:

Bullet point the problems or issues the character has in the book (hint – all characters have more than one issue)

Write down at least 2 sentences from the book that describe something about your character in detail (looks, personality, problems they are dealing with, etc.) and include page numbers and paragraph number.

               Right side of inside page:

In complete sentences, summarize your favorite scene from the book with your character.  Minimum of one paragraph.

Back cover:         Junior uses drawings to tell his stories – draw a picture of your character as you see him/her.
